Program Supervisor- Housing Solutions and Victim Services
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:
Coordinate
the Victim Services, Runaway and Homeless Youth, and Housing Programs and provide direct
supervisor to program staff. Assume responsibility for program
development, implementation and operation.
Carry out the goals of the programs adhering to grant guidelines. Apply sound fiscal management to all funding.
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
1. Responsible
for daily operations of the Victim Services, Runaway and Homeless Youth, and
Housing Programs
2. Responsible
for housing related services to include but not limited to: HEAP, TANF SA, TANF
DV and referrals to community resources.
3.
Provide ongoing supervision of staff
4.
Responsible to provide victim training/support groups
5.
Serve as a liaison to the New York State Office of
Victim Services
6. Maintain
statistical database and case management files. Coordinate the preparation of
reports as required by funders.
7.
Assist in program development and grant writing.
8.
Recruit and supervise program volunteers.
9.
Work in conjunction with community agencies to include
but not limited to: the DA’s Office, the Schuyler County Sheriff’s Department,
Schuyler County Department of Social Services,
Schuyler County Mental Health, Finger Lakes Addiction Counseling &
Referral Agency.
10.
Represent the agency at the Southern Tier Coalition of
Domestic Violence.
11. Coordinate
public education/awareness efforts regarding violence and community response;
provide training for human service providers, community agencies, and religious communities.
12.
Create and maintain standard operating procedures for
Program tasks.
13. Collaborate
with HMIS Administer to ensure the effective use of client-related software and
technology.
14. Participate
in appropriate Catholic Charities staff meetings and in-service staff
development opportunities.
15.
Represent Catholic Charities to the Schuyler County Community.
16.
Other duties as assigned.
TITLE OF DIRECT SUPERVISOR:
Director-Schuyler QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors’ degree in Social Services or related field with at least
two years of supervisory experience.
Experience in collaboration with other county agencies to ensure
victim’s needs are met.
A combination of education and experience may be substituted
at the discretion of the Executive Director.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: 24/7 Emergency On-Call
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
· Possess
excellent verbal and
written communication skills.
· Ability
to multi-task and prioritize duties.
· Willingness
to foster agency, department and program wide cooperation and team work through use of positive/constructive communication techniques.
·
Ability to maintain
absolute confidentiality in regards to
all records reviewed including consumer
records, employee records and billing
records.
· Proficiency
and experience with PC’s and Microsoft applications.
· Ability
to analyze and interpret data and to handle
problem resolution.
·
Possession of a valid NYS Driver’s license and a driver's record considered acceptable by agency and insurance carrier.
· Continuous
use of a reliable, registered and insured
vehicle.
· Demonstrate
commitment to Agency Mission Statement.
· Working
knowledge of community resources and funding systems external to the agency.
· Background
checks may be required per program regulations.
· Compliance: Adheres to all applicable federal and state laws and regulations including, but not limited to, those
governing confidentiality, privacy, program, billing and
documentation standards. All duties must be performed in accordance with
CCDR’s corporate compliance and ethics program.
