Position: Janitorial Worker

Hours: Part Time, Non-Exempt, 6-10 hours per week with additional hours available as needed

Hourly Rate: $15.00

Schedule: Afternoons/Evenings or early mornings

Reports to: Building Maintenance Superintendent


Job Function and Duties: The Janitorial Worker performs general housekeeping duties of CAPCO owned and rented facilities. Duties include: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, disinfecting, routine bathroom cleaning and disinfecting, as well as collection of garbage and recycling. The Janitorial Worker will also have access to the designated van and it's equipment. 


Qualifications: Qualified applicants will have a High School Diploma or GED, prior cleaning experience, valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record and proof of COVID-19 vaccination.


Physical Demands & Working Environment: To perform the duties of the Janitorial Worker, the employee is regularly required to use their hands to handle and feel and have the ability to: use power tools, stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, talk and hear. The employee may occasionally be required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Employee must be able to lift/move up to 25 pounds with assistance. Employee will be occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, high places, dirty confined spaces, outside weather conditions, risk of electrical shock and moderate to loud volumes.
