Position Title: Registration Billing Clerk
Salary: $17/hr
Schedule: Full time/37.5 hours per week
Location: 2 days at Hornell office / 3 days at Bath office
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:
The work involves responsibility for the independent performance of routine
clerical work maintaining financial accounts and records including those of a
computerized nature. Responsible for
independently processing client financial data including insurance cards,
verification, and data entry into the EMR, obtaining client consents, as well
as routine maintenance of clients financial account status.
TITLE OF DIRECT SUPERVISOR: COUNTY REPRESENTATIVE
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma with a minimum of 1 year of office
experience.
Detail oriented
Self-motivated
Capable of
multi-tasking
The ability to interact in a confidential and profession
manner.
Computer skills including working knowledge of Word and
Excel
Cerner/Other EMR experience a plus
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Possess excellent verbal and
written communication skills.

Ability to multi-task and prioritize
duties.

Willingness to foster agency,
department and program wide cooperation and team work through use of

Ability to maintain absolute
confidentiality in regards to all records reviewed including consumer records,
employee records and billing records.

Proficiency and experience with
PC’s and Microsoft applications.
·
Ability to analyze and
interpret data and to handle problem resolution.
·
Possession of a valid NYS
Driver’s license and a driver's record considered acceptable by agency and
insurance carrier.

Continuous use of a reliable,
registered and insured vehicle.
·
Demonstrate commitment to
