Salary: Starting at $55,500, based on experience

Open Office Hours: Monday – Thursday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, and Friday, 8:00 am – 1:00 pm.

Primary Functions:

The Programs & Partnership Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day processes of the Food Bank’s external partner agency services and community programs that address hunger and food insecurity across the region. This position is the primary relationship manager for all agency and program partnerships and ensures that Food Bank resources are strategically leveraged for the greatest impact.


Specific Duties:

Program Management

• Ensures smooth execution of Food Bank programs.

• Manages and maintains up-to-date internal program calendars and Food Finder information on the website.

• Leads monthly internal program meetings.

• Develops and maintains relationships with program partners and other organizations contributing to our work.

• Work to build trust with internal and external stakeholders.

• Develops and amend program and partnership agreements.

• Assists with researching, designing, and evaluating new programs and activities as needed.

• Updates program and agency manuals, materials, and training as necessary to demonstrate changes.

• Facilitates Agency Advisory Committee meetings, recruits, and trains Committee members, develops meeting agendas, and implements Committee priorities.

• Engages agencies, program partners, community organizations, and other stakeholders in efforts, such as advocacy or community engagement, which foster collaboration and shift Food Bank-agency relationships from transactional to transformational.

• Facilitates best practice sharing among agencies and programs.

• Works to develop community-based connections and coalitions.

• Develops Standard Operating Procedures as needed.


Communication

• Maintains effective communication among key internal and external stakeholders.

• Manages program & partnership communications, including updates to Partner Portal on the website and stakeholder newsletter as needed.

• Works with the Community Impact Department, Development & Community Engagement Department, key community partners, and volunteers to ensure consistent messaging and build support for the partnerships, direct service programs, and activities.

• Acts as a Food Bank spokesperson as needed.

Capacity Building

• Works closely with the Director of Policy, Partnerships, and Programs to develop, organize and conduct agency and program capacity-building activities, training, and incentive programs.

• Manages related community education training in collaboration with the Community Empowerment Manager.

• Manages the Food Bank’s annual partner celebration.


Compliance & CHOW RDO

• Works with the Programs & Partnership team to ensure that all partner agencies and programs comply with Feeding America and HPNAP guidelines as applicable.

• Determine corrective actions for agencies or programs that are not compliant.

• Supports the CHOW RDO relationship in collaboration with the Director of Policy, Programs, and Partnerships.

• Conducts annual site inspections to ensure compliance with the RDO agreement.

• Participates in CHOW partnership meetings.

Leadership & Supervision

• Establish relationships based on trust and mutual accountability.

• Ensures staff members are familiar with and adhere to organizational values, policies, and procedures.

• Engages staff in the development of annual goals and objectives.

• Meets regularly with staff to track progress toward goals and provide regular feedback on performance in addition to formal annual performance evaluations.

• Ensures the ongoing development and effectiveness of the team by making available adequate tools, systems, and training consistently to carry out work effectively.

• Hires, trains, schedules, motivates, evaluates, supports, and directs employees to optimize workplace productivity and promote professional growth.

• Works collaboratively with colleagues throughout the organization to ensure alignment with the broader goals of the Food Bank.

• Identifies opportunities to break down silos and ensure transparent and effective communication and partnership across departments.

• Positively contributes to the organizational culture by promoting and modeling organizational values.

General

• Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum Associate’s degree with 2 years experience of the equivalent of 4 years experience in Human Services.

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a supervisory role required.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Outlook required with proficient use in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint software programs preferred.

• Experience with Primarius inventory software is a plus.

• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills are required.

• Internet connectivity is the responsibility of workforce members working off-site. Bandwidth requirements to be at least 50Mbps (7.5M/Bs) download X 8Mbps (1.25 M/Bs) upload at all times to adequately support software applications.
