We’re looking for a Development Coordinator!

 

What you’ll be doing:

The Development Coordinator is primarily responsible for high-level clerical and administrative duties to optimize workflow by providing organization and daily support to the Senior Vice President & Chief Development Officer.  This individual will provide support for a variety of development projects, such as events, the travel program, major gifts, and foundation items. This position can be hybrid – a blend of remote and in-office work.

In summary, this individual will:

  • Provide full administrative support to the SVP & CDO, including scheduling meetings, assisting with development related events, correspond with donors, submit project requests, etc.
  • Assist in the coordination of BTPM Travel Club tasks and related activities
  • Conduct ongoing reconciliation of pledge and payment status of Capital Campaign donations
  • Assist with individual, and foundation prospect research and tracking activities
  • Conduct data entry and maintenance of confidential files for databases


What you’ll need:

  • Minimum of Associate degree in business administration, management, liberal arts, related field or two (2) years of comparable experience
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in an administrative capacity
  • Demonstrated proficiency with computer programs including Microsoft Office
  • Exceptional organizational, time management and prioritization skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, specifically the written word and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with e-mail service providers and digital platforms desired
  • Interest in nonprofit fundraising and development preferred

Salary and Benefits:

This is a full-time, non-exempt hourly position and starting pay will be based on education, experience and interview.  Starting range: $16 to $20/hr.
