We’re looking for our next Digital Marketing Intern!

 

What you’ll be doing:

The digital marketing intern* will work directly with the Senior Digital Marketing Coordinator to create various advertising and promotional campaigns across the Google Ads network, social media, and email. The intern will gain experience in digital advertising methods, copywriting, and data collection, while utilizing a variety of platforms, and complete the internship with a varied portfolio. Opportunities to work with other marketing personnel will be available.  Hours are flexible and work may be hybrid – a blend of remote and in-office work. 


In summary, this individual will:

  • Assist with research, creating, and proofing content for digital advertising efforts, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Google
  • Write creative, engaging copy to use in promotional campaigns, fundraising emails, and e-newsletters
  • Assist with data collection and analysis across platforms to determine the success of ad campaigns
  • Help define digital marketing strategy
  • Be exposed to budget management and the allocation of advertising dollars across campaigns
  • Research current marketing trends to improve creative and strategic direction of marketing campaigns 


What you’ll need:

  • Enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student in a communications, marketing, journalism, or related field – *must be qualifying for college/university course credit, documentation required.
  • Familiarity and general interest in marketing, advertising, or communications fields.
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office or similar programs.
  • Creative, approachable, team-focused, professional demeanor.
