We’re looking for our next Social Media/Marketing Intern!

 

What you’ll be doing:

The social media intern* will work directly with the social media coordinator to create content for our family of social media accounts. The intern will gain experience with multiple stations and platforms and complete the internship with a varied portfolio. Opportunities to work with other marketing personnel will be available.  Hours are flexible and work may be hybrid – a blend of remote and in-office work.  In summary, this individual will:

·        Assist with research, drafting, and proofing content for social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, et al.

·        Assist in monitoring responses across platforms as well as researching potential social media contacts, tools, events, and opportunities.

·        Contribute to the organization’s content calendar/social media scheduling.

·        Work with the Social Media Coordinator to identify areas of improvement for BTPM’s social media.

·        Research strategies to meet social media goals.

 

What you’ll need:

·        Enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student in a communications, marketing, journalism, or related field

·        Familiarity and general interest in marketing/communications using social media platforms

·        Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office or similar programs

·        Creative, approachable, team-focused, professional demeanor

*This is an unpaid internship for course credit from an accredited college/university program. Internship documentation or agreement from the school is required.
