Starting Salary:
$55,000 annually, based on experience

Our full-time
staff has a schedule that is strong on work-life balance, working Monday –
Thursday 8-4 and Friday 8-1. They receive competitive salaries and a generous
benefits package, including a paid leave accrual rate that starts at two weeks
annually and grows.

Who you are:

A strong grant manager with six years of experience
in writing, tracking, and reporting on grants
-
You understand how to manage stewardship with donors
-
You love all areas of Finance and can manage a budget

Know where to source grants of all kinds

Detail oriented and well organized

Very diligent and can manage time constraints to meet

What you’ll do:
·
Plans,
implements, and assesses the outcomes of a comprehensive grants program in
conjunction with the Chief Development Officer. The Grants Manager will
maintain a master Grants Calendar for scheduling contacts with Grantmakers,
writing proposals and reports, along with notifying relevant staff of awards.

Identifies,
researches, and qualifies prospective Grantmakers, both regional and
national.

Works closely
with the Feeding America National Organization (FANO) grants staff to monitor
and assess grant opportunities available through the FANO network.
·
Participates in
a prospect review process that involves the Development and Community
Engagement department and President /CEO.
·
Develops
letters of inquiry, grant proposals (including project budgets), grant
reports, and thank you letters.

Serves as the
primary liaison between the Food Bank/Board of Directors and funder program
officers.
·
Need to be able
to analyze and interpret financial and legal documents and present organizational
information to Senior Leadership Team, Board of Directors, program officers,
etc.

Ensures that
records, research, and tracking information about Grantmakers in the
development database are accurate and current.
·
Creates an
annual strategic plan for each granting organization in the database and uses
it to guide and document work throughout the year.
·
Establishes and
manages stewardship programs for foundations and grantmaking entities. Works
collaboratively with Corporate Partnerships Manager for co-assigned funders.

Is
knowledgeable about Food Bank programs, financial and administrative
structure, and future plans.
·
Meets regularly
with Department leaders to anticipate current and future funding needs.

Schedule – Full-time, salaried, summer hours all
year long
Salary – Starts at $55,000 annually, offers are
dependent upon experience
