We’re looking for a Data
Analyst!
What
you’ll be doing:
The Data Analyst is responsible for delivering our mission by optimizing
audience engagement, building effective digital promotion campaigns, and
developing efficient solutions for our digital content. This individual
is also responsible for using technical skills to work with data sets across
the organization to provide analysis and guide key business decisions. This position can be hybrid –
a blend of remote and in-office work. In summary, this individual will:
- Develop an understanding of data sets across the organization on audience
trends, consumption patterns, donation behavior, and other key areas as directed
- Monitor performance measures, identify trends, and provide input to
senior management
- Enhance overall operations through development of compelling
presentations, visualizations, and reports that will lead to strategic
recommendations
- Create and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual benchmarks,
including measurement against goals and KPIs
- Evaluate, aggregate, and validate data and manually correct relevant
data that may have been compromised
- Collaborate across the organization to develop presentation materials
for internal use, board meetings, funder meetings, and other communications
- Provide guidance and answer questions from staff and management
on data and/or relevant reports
- Develop and maintain a
data dictionary
- Maintain analytical
tools, reporting, and dashboards
What
you’ll need:
- Minimum
of Bachelor degree Computer Science, Information Management Systems, Mathematics,
Business Analytics, related field or comparable experience
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience
in business operations, data analysis or systems development,
or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Advanced skills with various program/platforms,
including Microsoft Office, project management software, cloud platforms, and
visualization tools; experience with statistical modeling and SQL
- Analytical thinker, possesses troubleshooting and
problem-solving skills
- Strong
written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated
ability to create accurate, relevant visualizations for a variety of audiences

Salary
and Benefits:
This is a full-time position and
starting pay will be based on education, experience and interview. Starting range: $23 -$28 per hour.
