We’re looking for a Vice President, Corporate Support!
What you’ll be doing:
The Vice President,
Corporate Support leads the strategic sponsorship efforts in support of the
company’s mission and goals. The position is responsible for attaining the
budgeted goals and maximizing the organization’s underwriting revenue by
driving new sponsorship while continuing to grow existing sponsors. This
individual provides leadership and guidance to the Corporate Support team as it
relates to the development of program underwriting. This
position can be hybrid – a blend of remote and in-office
work. In summary, this individual will:
- Develop and implement a
comprehensive multi-year corporate support sales plan to acquire new sponsors
and renew / upgrade existing corporate sponsors
- Research
and identify sponsorship leads, prepare and present proposals
- Lead
a team of sales representatives and assistant
- Collaborate
with marketing to develop appropriate collateral
- Supervise the sale of
underwriting for all BTPM initiatives and station projects, including radio
& TV programming, BTPM productions, fundraising events, podcasts, all BTPM
stations, and other new business ventures
- Manages departmental budget
What you’ll need:
- Minimum of six (6) years of experience in broadcast sales with established record of success;
non-profit background preferred
- Minimum of six (6) years of demonstrated sales management experience
successfully overseeing inside sales, field sales and account development
- Minimum
of Bachelor degree in marketing,
business administration, management or related field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with high-level of
presentation ability; confident and comfortable with public-speaking
- Strong leadership capabilities complimented by a highly collaborative
approach working with members of the executive team
- Demonstrated analytical-thinking skills and professional acumen to
apply proper judgement in complex situations; ability to apply logic and sound
reasoning fairly and consistently
- Ability to work with various types of people with varying temperaments
and skills
- Demonstrated ability to efficiently and effectively manage client
relationships
- Familiarity and hands-on experience with sales on a variety of social
media and digital platforms
- Demonstrated proficiency with computer programs/platforms including Microsoft
Office
- Previous sales experience in radio, TV or promotion a plus
- Travel requirement: approximately 20%, primarily
local travel, some overnights/weekends may be required

Salary and Benefits:
This
is a full-time, exempt salaried position and starting pay will be based on
education, experience and interview.
Starting range: $90k - $120k.
