We’re looking for a Corporate Sales Representative!

 

What you’ll be doing:

The Corporate Sales Representative is responsible for securing corporate funds for our family of stations and new projects and initiatives including digital and social media activities.  As a key member of the Corporate Support department, this individual will demonstrate initiative and drive for developing new accounts, maintaining existing accounts, providing superior client service, marketing company assets and meeting budgetary and non-budgetary goals. This position can be hybrid – a blend of remote and in-office work. In summary, this individual will:

  • Secure regular corporate funding for new and existing programs, sponsorship funds for local events, and funding for new local and national productions
  • Serve as a liaison for public rentals, actively seeking new clients, providing tours/viewings as requested, and responding to client inquiries in a timely manner
  • Assess and determine client needs including availability and capacity of space, equipment and staffing needs, etc.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing & Creative Services team to develop full-scale marketing plans for sales needs
  • Manage print and digital collateral, website copy, inquiry form, etc. with appropriate departments
  • Provide exceptional service to all clients, funders, supporters, etc.


What you’ll need:

  • Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent; related advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum of one (1) year of outside sales or media marketing experience
  • Demonstrated experience meeting sales objectives
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills; ability to interact and connect through various channels with diverse populations/clientele
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize, plan, follow-up and meet deadlines and deliverables
  • Demonstrated proficiency with computer programs including Microsoft Office
  • Valid, current driver license

Salary and Benefits:

This is a full-time, exempt position and starting pay will be based on education, experience and interview.  This position is structured with a base pay range between $36k - $45k and commission potential.
