We’re looking for our
next Audio & Virtual Operations Intern!
What
you’ll be doing:
The
Audio & Virtual intern will assist the Audio & Virtual Operations
Manager with many aspects of live and recorded productions and events. The
intern will gain experience in the coordination and execution of audio and
virtual activities and organizational standards for quality control. Hours are flexible and work may be hybrid – a
blend of remote and in-office work. In
summary, this individual will:
- Assist
with the execution of live and recorded TV & Radio audio operations,
building proficiency in audio programs and equipment, quality control, sound
reinforcement, etc.
- Assist
in the recording and editing of promotional and underwriting spots
- Assist
with the recording of voice-over, creating audio that adheres to station
standards
- Assist
with set up of audio and virtual equipment for various station events,
including pledge drives, staff trainings, etc.
- Gain a familiarity with a variety of audio
& virtual programs and equipment
- Complies with all BTPM’s policies, procedures and values; displays
professional acumen and leads by example
- Performs all other duties as assigned by a member of management
What
you’ll need:
- Enrolled as
an undergraduate or graduate student in media production/editing,
communications, or related field – *must be qualifying for college/university
course credit, documentation required
- Familiarity
and general interest in audio production equipment and programs
- Basic
computer skills including Microsoft Office or similar programs
- Creative,
approachable, team-focused, professional demeanor

is an unpaid internship for course credit from an accredited college/university
program. Internship documentation or agreement from the school is
required.
