Mechanical Assembler/Facility Maintenance

The Mechanical Assembler/Facility Maintenance is
skilled in electromechanical components and is a key member of our Production
team.
Essential Duties
·
Perform
mechanical assembly of custom design systems using mechanical drawings.
·
Work with hand
tools, read a tape measure, and measuring devices and power tools.
·
Conducts
tasks in accordance with applicable health, safety, quality and environmental
regulations (state/federal laws, ISO 9001, etc.) as well as Han-Tek policies
and procedures.

Able to
Read and understand tape measures (Metric and Standard) along with calipers,
micrometers and dial gages.
·
Marking,
drilling and tapping holes in metal material
·
Performs
routine maintenance on building interior and exterior.
·
Maintains a
schedule of when maintenance has been performed and when next service is due.
·
Works in a safe
manner and recognizes unsafe situations. Takes appropriate action to ensure
safety of themselves and others in building.
Education, Experience, and
Other Requirements
·
High School diploma or equivalent
Physical and Environmental
The Mechanical Assembler/Facility Maintenance is located primarily
in a production environment but may experience other conditions while on-site
at customers on a regular basis.
Physical requirements include:
§ Moderate
lifting (up to 25 pounds)
§ Use
of potentially hazardous machinery
§ Use
of electrical tools
§ Exposure
to loud noise
§ Proper
safety equipment must be worn including:
o
Safety glasses
o
Steel-toed boots
§ Awareness of potential hazards, such as nearby
machinery, while in the shop or at a customer location
§ Customer
locations may require appropriate safety equipment to be used
