The purpose of the Community Tax Program is to help low-income individuals who may lack the resources or awareness to take advantage of all possible tax benefits and credits. The Program also helps individuals connect to programs that encourage savings and wealth building, turning refunds into financial assets. As such, the Community Tax Program insures that income that is earned in this community comes back to this community.

The primary duty of the Community Tax Program Director is to oversee the Community Tax Preparation Program. This is a full-time position with considerable schedule flexibility after the tax season. Full benefits package included. Three to five years of related experience in preparing federal and state income taxes, training or consulting with individual or groups on matters of income taxes and asset development, and working with volunteers is preferred.
