Service and Parts Manager

Manager works towards this goal by managing all service and parts department
functions throughout the NY Office
Essential Duties
The Service & Parts Manager plays a
vital role in the ongoing success of Han-Tek.
Additional duties may be assigned to meet business needs. The essential duties and responsibilities of
the position include:
§ Provides direction and supervision to the service
& parts department by delegating workload, managing employee performance,
and maintaining appropriate staffing levels through recruitment, selection, and
retention activities
§ Develops and implements sales programs to expand the
service & parts department
§ Manages the client workload and scheduling of
inspections and repairs based upon client needs and staffing abilities
§ Ensures necessary service and rental equipment is
available onsite for Service Technicians
§ Maintains positive customer interactions to further
develop long-term customers
Education, Experience, and
Other Requirements
Based on the responsibilities of this
position, the Service & Parts Manager is required to have the following
qualifications:
§ High
school diploma or GED
§ 8
years’ experience in a leadership role
§ Equivalent
combination of education and experience with integrated material handling
and/or automation systems
§ Knowledgeable
with Microsoft Office products
§ Strong
attention to detail and organizational skills
§ Ability
to interact with customers and employees in a professional manner, excellent
verbal and written communication skills
§ Valid
driver license
§ Ability
to maintain confidentiality
§ Exceptional
time and budget management skills
§ Risk
assessment and problem solving skills
Physical and Environmental
The Service & Parts Manager is located primarily in an office
environment, but may experience other conditions while on-site at a customer’s
location or in the production shop on a weekly basis. Physical requirements include:
§ Occasional
light lifting of 25 pounds or less
§ Awareness of potential hazards, such as nearby
machinery, while in the shop or at a customer location
§ Customer
locations may require appropriate safety equipment to be used
